The female made a writing productivity spreadsheet to help you keep track of up to 20 projects at a time. If you need more than 20, you can add more columns on the end and adjust the formulas. (Please do not ask us how to do the formula adjustments. Maybe in 2022 you can talk us into making a version with more than 20, but 20 SHOULD be enough for most people.)
This sheet is a daily productivity tracker. You plug in your word counts in the appropriate boxes. It will do math for you.
Enjoy. I did some testing to make sure it works, and if I DID somehow screw a formula, and you can easily tell me where I broke it, I will update the drop box version.
You can download a generic version for 2020 and a nice dated version for 2021 here: https://www.dropbox.com/…/j52e36…/AAAVluZhCdj5WZk70cNKeSkRa…
We love you, our writer friends, but we are NOT troubleshooting this monster for you, teaching you the ins and outs of using it, or doing more than answering basic questions.
We did this because we could and we’re not being paid to be customer service (nor do we realistically have the time to play customer service.
We’ve done basic testing, and if we broke it, we’ll update the dropbox… but if you break it, we are NOT fixing it.
There is a short guide on what the fields mean on the Project Master List page at the bottom.
We included a small amount of shameless promotion to the one sheet, because… we’re not accepting actual donations for this work.
Please share. This is for every author. Well, except for people we’ve blocked, because well, if they did something to earn being blocked, we don’t really feel like being all that nice to them. (What? We’re jerks.)
Please enjoy, and we hope this helps.
P.S.: The weekday counts are incorrect on the 2020 generic page because we did not do the several hours of work to make the chart have proper dates on it. (Sorry!)
