R.J. here. In good news, I’d finished all my immediate deadlines. In bad news, my husband just went to the ER. It’s not COVID, but it’s also not good.
As such, I’m probably not going to be as active as normal. I’ll keep everybody (who is interested) posted.
At this point in time, nothing in my schedule is changing, I just won’t be as social as normal. Possibly. I have a lot of waiting to do in the near future, as visitors aren’t allowed at the hospital. With a little luck, he’ll be able to come home sooner than later. Unfortunately, I just don’t know anything.
(We’re hoping it’s a severe ulcer. Because that’s the best case scenario right now.)
A special thanks to the San Jose fire and EMS for coming out at 2 AM. Huge kudos to you.
So, Book Faire will either happen or won’t for the next few days. (Sorry. There are a few books left, and I’ll get to them as soon as I’m able.)
Booked for Murder is $2.99 in the US and Canada until the end of the month.
The Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count) Starter Pack is on sale for $0.99 until February 7, 2021. If you wanted to start this series, this is the best way to go about it.
The next confirmed release is Catnapped in May. It’s going to be amazing. And honestly, between sessions of frantic cleaning (I clean to make myself feel better) and pacing, I’ll probably be working on this, the Vampire of Montana, and Runaway. (Both of those are Royal States titles.)
I will also be working on Unawakened, the second Dae Portals book.
So… I’m off to clean and pace tracks into the apartment carpets while waiting for word.
Whether your spiritual or not, good wishes for luck to him and his doctors are appreciated.
