The cats are too tired to write anything today, so you get the super duper grouchy human today.
The movers beyond sucked. They sucked so bad they managed to trash the apartment they were moving us out from, including damaging the property, PLUS destroy a lot of things, including several family heirlooms. To add insult to injury, we’ve done at least eight runs with our super big pickup truck.
This pickup.
Yeah. Let’s just say I left a scathing review. We have to go back tomorrow to turn in the keys after we get our vaccination, and frankly, the elevator there is broken and we’re just done with this.
There are a few items on the balcony they can deal with, because if their dumbass elevator hadn’t broken, we would have dealt with it ourselves. (Hint: because the elevator is broken, to move things via the wagon and avoid the stairs… I have to walk half a mile to get to the truck.)
I have done 13,933 steps today. Most of it walking around the complex hauling the wagon because of a broken elevator.
Then I got banned from facebook because their bots disliked two posts in an entire YEAR. /gasp!
I’m so naughty. Honestly, I suspect I won’t miss facebook at all. I can write books instead. Or play the SIMs. Or do something other than worry about facebook. I have a twitter account I don’t use often. The cats sometimes run it. It’s https://twitter.com/SneakyBookLady, the most clever of twitter handles.
I might try one of those other social media sites instead of the book of faces, not that I know which ones are out there that don’t require videos or pictures. I do have an instagram. It’s https://www.instagram.com/rj.blain/. Also super creative.

Unawakened released today. I have no idea if it did well or not. I was slaving away trying to undo the horrific messes the movers made. Price goes up to $5.99 sometime tomorrow or the next day, whenever I get the energy to actually do it.
Here is just a teeny tiny preview of the hell I endured. This was after several HOURS of cleaning. My beautiful bookcase full of crystals? They emptied it by overturning it and dumping everything onto the floor. My desk… shared a similar fate.
I don’t even know how that plate got there. It had been in the kitchen area… across the room. And that blue bowl in the middle used to be a plant. You can see the dirt it had left behind. The white powder? Caustic cleaners I’m exceptionally allergic to. This was just an entire clusterfuck.
A part of my Dyson Animal V8 are still missing. Fortunately, it’s just the cord cable, and I’m willing to dish out to replace it if I can’t find it. In the meantime, I got a purple Dyson Ball Multifloor thingie. I love it.
It work real good. Aren’t my toes cute? That was one pass with the baby vacuum. It did SO good.
I have to go unpack things we moved in today. It is 10 pm. I’m exhausted. But the stuff I must unpack came from the freezer, so it can’t wait.

Discord makes me too accessible. I need SOME separation/not instant communication/people having quite as much direct access.
Call a good lawyer – that’s beyond horrible. Include the time it’s taken you to clean up after them (it’s taken you away from your professional work that pays the bills) and the pain & suffering of having irreplaceable precious items so callously trashed by those incompetent nincompoops 🙁
It’s just not worth the hassle, the expense, or the stress. Or the anxiety attacks. I have so much better things to do with my time. I totally left a scathing review with pictures.
But, I just don’t have the mental or emotional resources to deal with a lawsuit of that fashion. It’s just not worth it to me, and it’s not how I want to spend my time.
Totally understand… but the Better Business Bureau is an excellent resource too. Years ago I was getting nowhere with a vendor until I brought the BBB in, but did things ever move quickly after that! Many businesses need a good rating with the BBB to drum up business.

Gab. Does not censor. Does not require video or photos, although both can be uploaded. Has several groups for specific interests. Allows following and reposting of a person’s post. I’m also on Wimikin ( which I hardly ever check), and MeWe (which is all right but does censor), but I find I prefer Gab. And Gab does NOT track you.
Here’s the funny thing… I’m okay with censorship when it involves keeping people safe. False news and lies being spread, especially about public safety matters, trips my trigger pretty hard. No censorship also means it’s likely a cell organization site for sex trafficking and so on… I simply cannot support sites that allow stuff like that to go on.
The lack of any censorship is a very dangerous thing… often for women or children.

Oddly, I think I’ve bottomed out on the anxiety. Like it’s just so bad I’ve completely shut down, it’s something to be dealt with… and considering how bad my asthma has been because of the move, I’m more concerned making sure I stay breathing ROFL
Six more hours of this stupidity (plus a Fauci Ouchi) and this will just be a sorta bad dream type thing.

Your story scares me because I was planning on using professional packers/movers when I move but I’d kill someone if my crystal got broken through their neglect. Now how long are you banned from FB? About the move. I had to go to another city to be able to afford rent. Of course the movers made that point a tad redundant once I got the bill.
As a single person, I have made a plan to open at least 6 boxes a day. Disability sucks sometimes, but for me it’s better than the alternative. Now if I could just find my towels so I can take a bath.
Wait. Can’t do that as the ceiling about my bathtub dropped a foot long chunk of soaked drywall stuff into said tub, and is currently leaking water down like a sieve. At least it is above the tub. Yay. Gaaaaah!
Maybe open more boxes….and not step on the very stressed out service dog. Poor guy. Lol

Yelp has your review ‘hidden’ as not relevant. I would also suggest filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It is easy to do online.
Even a “good” move is stressful and exhausting. What you described is just unfathomable. Hoping that the key drop-off is uneventful, the Fauci Ouchi goes smoothly and later in the day you are able to put your feet up and take a breather.
Forget Yelping them. Sue their asses off for intentional damage to property… I hope you took lots of photos as they were doing this. A judge will certainly nail them for a decent payoff.
