Starting sometime in September, the process to transition from Tantor’s production to Cameron Hill/Keira Grace for the Royal States books will be heavily underway.
While I am trying to make sure there are two distinct editions (uploading my own under other contracts), I cannot guarantee that Audible will preserve the Tantor Media versions of the audiobooks. (On my end, I am doing everything I can to make certain this is so.)
In the case of Audible, If it is an audiobook I produced, and I have the rights for the files, I will be coming up with a system that will allow me to send (via bookfunnel) the old versions of the audiobooks to those who purchased and their audiobook was overwritten.
I will have a form for you to fill out, and you will be required to show proof of purchase to my PA and the proof your file was overwritten. Assuming a valid proof of purchase is provided, I will give you a bookfunnel link to the title(s). This will be a slow thing for me to do due to the nature of it, but this should (mostly) solve those issues.
I am also going to experiment with opening a payhip store for audiobooks. They will be marked the same price as what I put into Findaway but distributed through bookfunnel. I do not have rights for all audiobooks to sell in this fashion. The ones I can do, I will do. (Royalty share ones are more complicated, and I need to discuss with the original producer regarding those. Of course, most of those ARE being re-recorded, so once they’re done, it won’t be an issue anymore…)
Generally, most of my folks either use a vendor or patreon, so my payhip experiments in the past have not gone all that well, but perhaps audiobook will be a different beast. But considering how many people in the poll only use audible, I doubt it will be viable. So, I expect that will just be used to help make sure people can (mostly) keep the old versions if they want.

I need about ten more hours in every day for work purposes than I currently have right now, and this is utterly exhausting.
