It’s not wtaf terrible, so don’t panic. But, there was a mishap with recording the first pilot that was done for non-Amazon vendors. As such, it will not be included in the production file.
Instead, I will be putting the file on my Patreon, open to all subscribers (Free or unpaid.) I’m not having it rerecorded (it was done by the wrong narrator) for many reasons including that it is bonus material. So, if you want the file, it will be available to members of my Patreon. Once again, paid or free members of the community.
There will be mistakes, flaws, problems, etc, as the file is not being proofed. (What was recorded is what you’re getting.)
Yes, I’m cutting losses. Yes, I’m fine with it, since the issue was with the pilot. I will probably just do this moving forward with all of the pilot / bonus stories.
You can check out the Patreon here.
Yes, less convenient, but I realistically cannot publish this without a rerecord due to the wrong narrator, and… well… Meet Ivan! He will be doing some upcoming male-led stuff that I’m hoping to have drafted up in 2024 and ready for a 2025 release.
He will be, at a minimum, voicing the lead from Cerulean. (See: Patreon; Cerulean is being featured as a read along as I have words written/prepared. Right now, I have the first scene drafted, but I need to go to the drawing board to do a lot of outlining. This book requires outlining.)
So, sorry about that. I hope you all have a great weekend.

So sorry this happened with your audiobook. Can’t quite wrap my mind around that they used the *wrong* narrator. That’s a high level of incompetence.

No, you misunderstand. It was a simple miscommunication, and there was a need for a male narrator to do something small in the project. it’s mostly Keira, and I did not appropriately communicate what needed to be him. It’s not their fault. It’s mine.

He is a fantastic reader. It was a fun piece as written, this added another layer of amusement to it. I think it rocked.

This was the first audiobook I ever listened to. To have a strong, calm male voice narrate was taking me back to the time as a little girl, when my dad read to us every night. It was a nice (if surprising) listen 😊.
