A Light in the Dark’s print edition (on Amazon) will release on November 19, 2024. Partner in Crime’s print edition (on Amazon) will release on November 22, 2024. Due to complexity, headache, I’m out of spoons, need some breather time, the mass market edition (B&N, etc) will release sometime in December. Yes, the mass market version WILL be coming.
Expect 6-12 months for audiobook editions. If they happen earlier, HOORAY! If not… don’t be surprised because I’m not going to be at all surprised. (Heh.)
Both will have special edition hardbacks done, but those are a 2025 project at this stage. (I’m exhausted, I need a break, and I can’t take a break until Experimental Voyage is to the editor, and that hasn’t happened yet.) And as it is, my break will be 1-2 days off before I dive back into the fray, with added bonus of actually getting weekends again. (We will not discuss how many days in a row I have worked getting PiC and ALitD prepared. It’s not pretty.)
Back to the grind! I am really hoping my days off are early next week…
Lynne
Thank you so much for providing the print versions!

Just note that the mass markets are the library editions, and I didn’t do expanded distribution with Amazon because yeeeeah. Reasons. >.>;

Please take the time for yourself to rejuvenate or whatnot on weekends cus I’d rather you be healthy than get sick or burn out and not get any more new and awesome books from you to read! Take care of yourself!

MS Word is Training Their AI
Mary Ellen Moore
Ms Blain – If you use MS Word you should read Ilona Andrews blog from 11-14. MS is taking content from everyone to “help you write better, etc”. There is a way to turn off their ability to do this, but it’s complicated. Ilona walks you through it on this blog post. Please protect your writing as it is precious and wonderful. I don’t want some AI trying to copy any of it.

It’s already been turned off for me. I posted about how to turn it off in FB as well for people to know. On Macs, it’s much easier to turn off compared to windows.
