Upcoming Publication Schedule

A few tidbits for you. Please refer to the bold for dates and time frames of things I’m fairly comfortable with. Game On is going to be the top priority release of 2026 alongside Winter Paradise. I opted to do Winter Paradise before New Waters because of the mood. Essentially, I’m in the mood for this book. It’s a bit of a detour from that primary plot arc, but let’s face it… After Prince of New York, something a tiny bit lighter and a little more European will be an excellent change of pace.

Note: There will be relevancy items in Winter Paradise, as the book does take place in Europe… for the most part. But mostly, it’s like Taken in nature. Taken, at first read, had little relevance until you get towards the later part of the series, after which a lot of Pat’s set ups start fitting together.

Taken does pave the way for Null and Void. Alas, Pat and Jessica didn’t make their badassery known during the initial series plotting phase… they were always going to do the roles they do, but characters don’t become rounded until they’re on the page, and that was when I decided Pat and Jessica needed actual screen time.

Yes, She’s Dynamite (Pat / Jessica #4) will be a thing, but it will not be set in the series itself. It will have “A Royal States Novel” branded on it, but it will not be in the series itself. It’s purely for fun and supplementary in nature. (I want to write it, therefore I will.)

1: Game On (GP Robbins) is going to release on November 10, 2026. I will be setting up the preorder in November.

2: Winter Paradise (Susan Copperfield) is going to release on December 22, 2026. (This will allow me to have most of Christmas week off and not worry about a release on Christmas morning.) I will be setting up a preorder in late December or January.

3: If circumstances allow, I will also be releasing Murder Floof (Bernadette Franklin) on December 22, 2026. I will not be setting up a preorder until the book is fully to Editor #1 and booked with Editor #2.

4: If circumstances allow, I will be releasing Failed Colony (the Pets in Space contribution that has not be solo released yet) sometime in 2026. Currently, I’m eyeballing a May 16, 2026 release. However, like Murder Floof, this will not be set up for preorder until the book is fully to Editor #1 and booked with Editor #2.

5: Crystal Rains is my 2026 Play Project of Choice. As such, this book will be most likely to randomly appear with a three month preorder cycle (see: not set up for preorder until the book is fully to Editor #1 and booked with Editor #2.)

6: Jesse Alexander #3, Sandra/Jonas #2, The Edge of Midnight (Wolf Hunt #3), Death’s Door (Fox Witch #3) are my stealth continuations that I’m going to be working on in the background.

Note: the books from 6 will be entering rotation after Death Dance, Game On, and Winter Paradise are completed, so these will be guaranteed in the line up for 2027 release unless my writing goes a lot better than expected in 2026.

2025’s writing schedule consists of finishing Dragon Her Heels and working on Death Dance.
