Steel Heart, Dawn of Dae, Unawakened, and Blood Diamond are now available for purchase over at Amazon in paperback format.
Please note that I will be doing fancy fun edges on the more expensive IngramSpark books, but this will be an ongoing work in progress. (Read: this is something I’m doing for the hardback editions, and the IngramSpark paperbacks, which are like $5+ more expensive than the Amazon editions, will be the tests for look, feel, appearance, etc.)
Edges are the flat bit of the book that runs along the top, opposite side of the spine, and bottom.
To make certain everyone has access to the physical format consistently, “pretty edges” will be done only through Ingram Spark while “standard, blank edges” will be offered through Amazon’s print division.
I will be doing two variants of hardbacks: books with special edition material, books without. I will have a guide on the website that shows if the hardback is a special edition. Note: Special edition hardbacks will have artwork inside that is NOT available in the digital version of the books. (These would be specially commissioned pieces of art specifically for the book, and in some rare cases, the art may be drawn/created by me.)
I will end up with three variants of each Really Nice hardback, which will go like this:
Amazon: B&W artwork inside, no edges. (Cream Paper)
IngramSpark: B&W artwork inside, Fancy Edges. (Cream Paper)
Specialty POD Printer: Foil, Fancy Edges, Color Artwork Inside (White Paper instead of Cream unless the printer allows color on Cream, which is not as common as one might appreciate.)
As you guessed it, Amazon will be the cheapest to acquire, IngramSpark will be middle of the road in pricing, and the Specialty POD printer pricing is ridiculous because that’s how that works unfortunately.
Prince of New York print edition on Amazon is in progress and might show up as early as next week.
Have a great weekend!
Where can you purchase the Ingram spark version of your books?
They aren’t available yet. I will post when they are.
Hihi, I purchased a physical copy of your book (Amazon) but have just been sent an email telling me it is being refunded? do you know if this issue is specific to me or something others are facing as well?
It is something you will have to take up with Amazon; authors are not given *any* information about anything like that. I simply don’t know, sorry!
