Before anyone panics, this was a glitch, albeit an annoying one. Somehow, the end of the book got marked as the beginning of chapter twenty instead of the end of chapter twenty-three. This was not a thing I did; it was done on Amazon’s end, and they aren’t even sure how/why it happened. It likely happened during an update cycle (for minor corrections, like tiny typos) and whomever approved the book selected the wrong spot for the end of the book.
They have corrected the issue. If your book is showing the end of the book in the wrong location, please delete from device and redownload the book. It should be fixed now.
Thank you for your understanding!
Dagnabit, RJ! Thankfully, my copy of Runaway, purchased about 2 years ago, appears to be okay, but in the process of checking, I read most of Ch. 23, which led me to look at the start of Ch. 1, which led me to decide I really need to re-re-read this book, so I promptly downloaded it to my 3 Fires (don’t know which one I’ll use). And then, since the last chapter mentioned the Vampire of Montana, and I really enjoyed those 2 books, wham! Downloaded them, too. But see, I’ve got 16,445 ebooks with AMZ, and a whole big slew of a ginormous bunch are recent purchases which I really ought to read first, but you persuaded me (ha! forced! more like) to move the re-reads to the top of the list. And thus…the dagnabit!!!!!! *snicker* Eric
How terribly tragic. I’m soooo sad for you. (hahahahahahahahaa) Happy reading!!
